Considered to be the prime makers of Ilonggo pastry treats, Panaderia de Molo is famous both in Iloilo, Bacolod and everyone who has been to the Western Visayas region.

Panaderia de Molo is more than just a bakeshop. It’s a very historical one. It has been witnessed to very important events in Iloilo City making it already an institution in the bakeshop industry tracing its roots to the Spanish colonial times.

Panaderia de Molo’s bestsellers are Hojaldres, our Best Seller, always imitated but never equalled, and Galletas. Banadas are round cookies glazed with sugar icing. The famous Barquillos are long tubes of rolled wafer-thin bisuits. Kinihad are thin slices of toasted bread, perfect to dip in hot coffee or hot chocolate. Galletas are crispy and crunchy pastry with a chalky taste.

Our Products

Biscocho Principe

Panaderia de Molo bakes buttery sponge cake, slices it thinly and bakes it again until crisp. The biscuits are lightly sweetened and airy, the sort of thing a little prince might gobble down as an after-school snack.

Copious egg yolks give these biscuit s a yellow-orange color. The texture, meanwhile, starts with a crunch and gives way to a creamy finish. The biscuits are shaped into a ring, like the pods of the camachile tree.

One of Our Best Seller, Always Imitated but Never Equalled.

This biscuit requires three bakers to roll the dough into paper-thin sheets, which are folded into multiple layers and brushed with butter and lard. They're so fragile, they'll shatter if you blow on them too hard.

The domed-shaped treats are bathed in a smooth as glass, shiny, white icing shell that yields with a satisfying crunch, giving way to a sweet biscuit with a tender texture. If you have a sweet tooth, this is definitely the one.
